As a massive fan of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure from the original manga release in the West I have constantly been thinking of what Stands could show up next. With this in mind, I have also gone out of the way to think of and create stands of my own that could work within the realm of a JoJo storyline as well as keeping to the basic ideals of Stand naming conventions. So without further ado lets get into this Stand Idea!
Note that the only rule I have given myself for Stand creation is that the Stand in question must be named after the following:
- A Song Artist
- A Band
- A Song
- An Album
Stand - Sign in Stranger
Destructive Power - C
Speed - D
Range - F
Durability - A
Precision - A
Developmental Potential - B
The Stands name is from the song by Steely Dan known as Sign in Stranger. I heavily recommend giving it a listen as we go through what the Stand does.
Sign in Stranger is a stand that takes the form of a 5-Star Hotel who wishes everyone within it to keep up to the standards of the Stand User. Upon entering the hotel, people will be asked to sign into a ledger with the stand user saying 'Would you sign in stranger?'. Upon signing their name into the ledger, they are under the control of the Stand until they sign out. Whilst signed in they cannot commit to anything that the Stand User deems inappropriate such as Fighting, Rude Language, Littering etc. These ideals can change at any time depending on the Stand User himself/herself.
If the Stand User has any malicious intent to anyone signed into the ledger, the hotel itself will start attacking them. This can result in furniture attacking or dropping onto the person or other people in the hotel turning onto the person, attacking them in kind. This means that anyone could possibly get hurt or even killed by the stand if the User demands it.
This was my idea for one Stand in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Do you have any ideas of your own or would even recommend something to base the stand off of? Why not let me know! Will be great to hear your ideas as well.
